I think the point is if a system is reliant on the RP forecast favorite as one of the factors there is a bit of a problem right there. Do you know how they select the RP forecast? Is it consistent each day? What happens if they change the methodology.............I think I'll pass

Reseached using Maria's Lays there was a lot of them RP forcast fav joint co. Then there was a some 4th and 5th in RP betting forcast. I looked into the RP forcast fav just to make it easy to manage and after some 38 monthes have come up with this. I lay to Maria's staking system and worked well for last 10 monthes.

You started this thread by saying you think you had uncovered the selection method by which "Maria" found her lays. You are now saying that this is your adaption/simplification of whatever system "Maria" used back in the day, but still using her staking plan? Fair enough. Good luck with it. Still not interested.

If there is one thing this betting journey has taught me it's that there are as many 'systems' out there as there are imaginations. Some work, most don't. If you've got one that works hold it close to your chest and tell no one. It won't last for long if you don't.

The maria laying method is doing well we hit 92% strike rate so looking good.

A 92% strike rate means nothing without the odds, plus the expected RP odds and BF odds are usually very different. Here's a script I did ages to pick out the RP favs, I tweaked it so it just pulls the handicaps. If I get time 'll try and code it on a cron job so it'll collect the data and strike rate.

I just lay the selections on a morning of race l just check odds in RP and then BF and just lay them.
I only checked on Maria's selections and tried to find some pattern to her lays. So l take my selections from that
.
If that makes any sense would of been nice if l had all her selections.

I've set up a script to automate grabbing and recoding the rp forecast handicap favs to see if there's any angles to exploit, here's the first day

31 selections 13 winners roughly 20pts up at BSP, not an ideal laying system, but only one day so far.
