Average last price matched on new pages

Postby Dave2626 » Sun Jan 31, 2016 9:15 pm

If I create more than one new page and link an excel sheet to those pages, the "Average last price matched" column doesn't populate on any of the excel sheets linked to the second or further new pages. It does on the first new page.

Have you ticked the 'enable trigger betting' box when linking the other sheets to excel? I think the additional columns only get sent to excel if you enable trigger betting

Yes

As I said it works on the first "new page" but not on any subsequent ones.

As this query seems to have been ignored:

Is this because I haven't been clear about the issue?

or

Do you think it is not an issue? ie the problem is being caused by something in my set up.

Hi,

You can log multiple tab pages to multiple sheets and use the Additional Columns in each sheet.

When you start logging to the additional sheets do you have Enable Triggered Betting ticked each time you log to Excel?

yes I answered that above.

To give you a bit more information that might be relevant. The precise situation is 3 new pages all with triggered betting enabled. The first page auto selects the market with 2 minutes till the scheduled off, the second one minute and the third zero minutes.

When I just did a test to make a screenshot in the first page everything loads fine, when the second page loads the first page appears to stop updating the average last price matched column and when the 3rd page loads the column is blank.

I have a screenshot of the excel sheets that I can send you.

I have fixed this bug. It was not sharing the average last priced data across tab pages when sharing data for the same market.

Please install version 1.3.0.37 from the link below.

Hi,

You need to first uninstall version 36 via Windows Control Panel and then install using the link Gary has provided.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
