Calling Gary or Mark re bloody Pay Pal

Postby one click king » Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:51 am

I've been using Gruss for years and have been paying via Pay Pal. For some reason it wouldn't renew this month, and on further investigation I can't use my bloody account, Gruss is the only reason I have one, because they seemingly want me to send some address verification.

My problem with all this is

a) it's going to take ages before I can do that
b) they are a faceless company who won't take phone calls, which as a normal person concerns me. I've never knowingly been asked for my address before by them, and I have no idea why they want it.

Is there a better way we can get round this as I am really not keen on passing my address details to someone/thing I don't know.

I'll happily pay a bit extra if I can remove these Pay Pal morons from my life.

I only use them to pay you £6 a month, nothing else, so giving away a lot of my information for £6 doesn't seem that fair.

We can also accept bank transfer and cheques. Please email admin@gruss-software.co.uk to discuss this. We will of course enable your account in the interim if it has expired.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
