The products we have are Betting Assistant for Betfair and Betting Assistant for Betdaq.
There is no wmc in the name.
If you download Betting Assistant from any other site that is not part of http://www.gruss-software.co.uk then it may well have been tampered with and should be left well alone.

I only ever download from your own site, but it is a bit worrying when you see things like this that are even saying that it is sourced from yourselves.
Just shows how careful you have to be.

Hi,

We can't stop unscrupulous individuals from obtaining our software and then trying to reverse engineer it so as to bypass having to pay subscription.
The software is copywrited and it is against our Terms & Conditions to alter the software.
But we can find out if any user is doing that and report them to Betfair.
As I say users should only ever download from our website otherwise they do not know what they are downloading.

My understanding is that Software Informer is a legitimate site that simply catalogues & provides un-tampered downloads of many legitimate software products. If you have downloaded from there, there shouldn't be any risk, although versions downloaded from there may be somewhat out of date.

Other than that, ditto what Mark says.
