Trading - Bank Query

I am a novice on the traing scene, and would like to know if Betfair would allow the transaction in the following scenario. I have backed a selection with a potential profit of £100, I then want to lay this with a potential liability of £80, but my betfair bank is only £70, would this transaction be allowed? Please advise..

Yes it will be allowed as you are reducing your liability.
