LAY-T3

Postby thegooser1 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 7:29 pm

Great bit of software.

Something I am trying though is a strategy for backing horses if the market reaches certan conditions.

However, before the off, if I can get 3 ticks profit before the off I would like to take it.

so.. I want to lay, then back before the off if I can get 3 ticks gain in price. I believe that i need the trigger cell to display "LAY-T7" but is it possible to get it to Green Up, instead of just firing the back bet at the same value.

Thanks for any help anyone can give, and I also appreciate I am being really awkward :)

OK... I think I have the answer..... LAY-TL2?

Will that cancel it on the off or will it run in play? I'm looking for it to NOT keep in play. Thanks

Hi,

Yes use LAY-TL3

The offset back bet's stake will be adjusted so as to produce a level profit, i.e. green up

If the offset back bet is still unmatched when the market turns in play then it will be cancelled.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
