Partial Match Question

Postby Shaun » Thu Nov 03, 2011 6:49 pm

Hi,

I just need to check if what i want to do will work.

If i want to lay a runner for liability of 500 and it is partially matched would columns W & X show the amount matched and the liability along with a "P" in the bet ref so if i cancelled the bet i could make calculations to place a new lay bet with the remaining unmatched liability?

If i use the LAY-SP trigger and the race goes in play with a partially matched bet that a bet at SP will be placed for the remaining unmatched liability?

Correct.

Only if the unmatched liability is £10 or more.

If i started with 500 liability but didn't cancel any and some matched but there was less than 10 left would it send that SP because the original was more than 10?

Not if the remaining liability is less than £10, it doesn't matter what the original liability was.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
