Probelms with "Auto select markets"

Postby djodds » Thu Oct 27, 2011 7:05 pm

Hello,

I´m testing the software and i´m not able to use properly the auto select market functions.
When the races are separated my 5 min and normally we have delays on the start, the software changes to the next race before aplaying my trigger. It seems that none of the functions are working properly. My computer is in Lisbon (Portugal) ie +1 hour.

Can somebody help me?

Regards
Nuno

The program cannot take delays into account. It can only change at the scheduled time. You say "none of the functions are working properly", what other functions in the program are not working?

Hi :)

You could use more than one tab and load the quickpick list with markets
that are plenty more time seperated than any delays you anticipate?
Also if you are linking to Excel then use more that one spreadsheet?

Hope this helps - Michael

P.S. It might also help if you set your computer clock to the same timezone as Betfair?

Sorry but english is not my native language...what I tried to explain is that none of 3 auto select markets functions solves the problem I have. I would like to change to the next race, only after the preceding one has been suspended (finish). The "wait until actual off of preceding race" seems not to be working, may be baecause off my local time...

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
