Hi i've just put a KVR switch on my two pc's ,i've got gruss installed on both of them for betfair, i can still log in on the original pc i was using gruss on which is running vista but my other pc which is running xp ,when i try and log in on the pop up box it says' invalid password or username i have used gruss on the xp pc in the past so i don't know what the trouble is and i am also unable to log in on the betafair website, the keyboard seems to be working ok through the KVR switch , i am typing this message on XP , any ideas what the problem could be ?

I'm afraid I don't know what the problem is, but if it also affects the website it probably is a keyboard issue. Are there any characters other than alpha numeric in your password?

Installing it for just you won't be the problem. @ does vary with international keyboards so could be the problem. Try typing @ in the username box where it can be seen. Does it appear or does a different character appear?

Open the control panel and look in regional settings. You should find the keyboard settings there. You probably need to change it to UK.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
