Seriously weird in-running price volatility

Discuss anything related to using the program (eg. triggered betting tactics)

Yes, I think thats certainly one of the effects. I think more and more people are realising that they simply cannot compete with those on course or with very fast feeds.

Seen the Betfair share price recently ? Another tumble today as the rest of the market rises. Now down to 781p from a offer price of 1550p (or thereabouts).

After a quiIte good June, the last 10 and especially in July I am having a lot of troubles. If we don't take under consideration the new BF premium charges,I would be intresting to know how other bot users performing?

At December i will be running my bots for 1 year and until then I have no idea how they will perform each month or at least what to expect...

I now only have one algo running and I've had to change a few parameters because of the lowered liquidity in-running. This means my profits are a shadow of what they were this time last year and 10% of the previous year !!
In my case its simply a matter of poor i/r liquidity.

Share price down again !!

Like many others on the Facebook group, I'm not going to do anything with Betfair on the 18th and in fact will be at Windsor (assuming the Magician meeting happens) to meet some of the guys I met at the Christmas dinner a couple of years ago.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
