Hi Gary, I just installed the betting assistant yesterday and I am getting a similar problem as described at the beginning of this thread.
I am not sure if the problem is with the software or something wrong with my setup.
I am running windows 7 premium home edition English which I upgraded this week from a windows 7 premium home edition German.
I have office 2010 installed which is running fine.
I tried installing .NET 2.0 but got a message that my 64bit version of windows is not supported. (alarm bells?)
I installed .NET 4.0 which installed succesfully.
and the BA_Diagnostic contains:
19:14:15:185: Login problem. The following URL was returned:

I have tried the following:
Launch BA
launch excel
open sheet Place_Bets.xls
click log current prices
the workbook name select object is not showing anything.
Kill all excel processes actually kills my open excell session
if I browse and select Place_Bets.xls nothing happens (before or after the kill)
So, before I go and do a clean install (which I really really really do not want to do) I was wondering if you could offer some advice.
Thanks
