Updating betting Assistant message

Hi, when I start the program a splash saying "Updating Betting Assistant" appears and the program goes nowhere. I have to kill it through Task manager as it hangs. I uninstall and re installed... no good same thing. I Downloaded the new version and same again. Obviously something simple going wrong here but i couldn't find an answer by searching.

Some user's Windows security prevents the auto update from working. I released an update yesterday. I have also released an update this morning so you may have the same problem.

If you are using Vista or Windows 7 then find "C:\Program Files\Betting Assistant\BA_Updater.exe" in Windows Explorer, right click, select properties, select the compatibility tab and tick "Run as administrator"

Sports betting software from Gruss Software


The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
