It seems Betfair have changed the format of the data for the API call we used to fetch all the markets. It's unfortunate that Betting Assistant could not handle this. I have released version 1.1.0.65y to fix this problem. It should auto update next time you open the program. I will be releasing the same fix for the Beta version shortly.

I would normally deal with this type of problem much quicker. It's unfortunate that I am trying to take some paternity leave. Apologies, but it's just bad timing.

Can't find anything wrong here. Try rebooting your PC and router in case it's a problem with your connection.

I had a similar problem about Sept 10. Gary solved it by suggesting i run a certain program and delete the configuration file

I hope the following link works - not familiar with linking to posts within the forum

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... php?t=5349

It is now int the previous page of the Help section

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
