Football Coupons

I know you can pull in the coupon for that day into excel, but I want to pull in for example, for this week.

Monday coupon
Tuesday coupon
Wednesday coupon
Thursday coupon

Not the In-Play coupons but the daily coupons.

Can this be done?

something like this would be very useful for me too.

At the moment I have to go through all the games individually and add the match odds market to the current tab. It's time consuming and there's no way to save the coupon once you have it so you have to leave the PC and Betting Assistant on or you lose it all.

Is there some way to get excel to log which markets you've got loaded in a coupon then be able to automatically regenerate that coupon later?

I have a problem with the refresh speed on the football coupons.

Try this:-

Load up this weeks Saturday 15.00 footie coupon and set the refresh to 5 secs (I have tried various refresh rates does not seem to matter)

Scroll down to the last match. York City v Hayes. Now pull up your PC clock and watch the actual refresh rate when this match updates. On mine it is a full minute.

Now this does not seem like the end of the world but once you try to log this data into a complex excel sheet the whole process grinds to a halt.

I am working on reformatting my sheets to speed things up, but I feel that there is an issue with the refresh on these coupons which will render my efforts redundant.

Anyone else have these issues with the footie coupons?

I'm not seeing the same issue here.

What is your throttle limit set to and how many requests per second is it displaying at the top of the screen?

Are all the markets having this issue or just the bottom market?

Is the problem there before linking to Excel?

Is the problem still there after rebooting router and PC?

On my PC the actual refresh is around 11000 ms and each market is updating around every 11 seconds with a throttle limit of 20.

Sorry Gary got called away just after I posted.

OK I have rebooted PC and router nothing is running other than BA and it is not connected to excel.

My throttle is set at 20 and the refresh rate at 5 s

The actual refresh is showing at 10-12 thousand ms and req= 16/17

Looking down the 15.00 coupon there is an even distribution of time intervals giving around 10 -15 sec difference from the 1st match to the last.

So rebooting has made a big difference from this morning.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
