osknow,

Have a look at the sheet in this link. Not exactly the same thing, but could give you some idea. Cheers

I was thinking that this was more for horse racing odds rather than football ?

It seems fairly easy to convert what we get in A1 to the URL for the corresponding Oddschecker horse race markets. Just a lookup to get the full name of the racecourse.

eg. http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing ... pton/12:45

I've got a feeling that the date shown in the URL won't be there come Saturday.

I'm already suffering withdrawel symtoms with no racing until Boxing day....

Merry Christmas everyone!

I took the last one down as spotted that each call to oddschecker was retrieving from cache and not the site, therfore no update.

This fixes it http://www.mediafire.com/file/nom2xthlj ... hecker.xls

I must admit it's been quite difficult to test this week as there are very few markets available. I've only really tested for football and horse racing so other markets may need looked at once there are markets available

Great sheet but are the logos from oddschecker supposed to block out the prices?

It shouldn't....

which market are you looking at?
what cells do the logos come out on? (should be rows 1-4 only)
what cells do the proces come out on? (should be rows 5 onwards)

I have linked the market 1 to the 1:20 at southwell and the oddschecker cells run from BD to EY and dont contain any horse names or prices just the logos runnung across the top several times first small then a bit larger.

and in market 2 I have Hamilton v Rangers over/under 2.5 and the oddschecker range runs from BE to BX with the selections but the logos are in portrait and are large and blocking the the prices (which are underneath)

The racing market did not have the win market on the end, it does now and the prices have linked

The logos are still covering the prices though

I'm not sure what the logo problem is, is it possible to email your example? I'll PM my email address

Thanks

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
