You can do it manually at BetFair so i thought it could be already possible.
Future plans about it?

Are you sure? Can you list the exact steps you make to place a below minimum BFSP bet on the website?

I only did it once and your question made me wonder if I really did it.
Human is a strange being

Anyway, here it is:
To place a back bet at lower than 2 at sp:
Click back odds, raise the odds at something really high (1000?) so that it will not be matched, enter 2 in stake, press place bets, press go to my bets, change the stake into lets say 2.5, press submit, continue, from the two bets that now appear delete the one with the 2 stake and change from the other one (0.5 stake) the option ‘at in play: cancel’ and tick the ‘at in place: take sp’
Nothing new here Gary the usual way to place a bet under the min, the only thing that changes is in the last step that you tick the “take sp”

Funny thing was that I just did it again to reproduce the steps and the horse that I picked by chance won! 0.5 Euro at 7.2, profit of 2.94!
Thanks Gary for asking

You already doing it in BA for bets under 2, so it looked very strange to me when you said that BA doesn't do it.

I thought you meant taking SP straight away which is bet you can't amend.
What you describe is no different to using BACK-SP trigger with a below minimum stake which Betting Assistant will quite happily do. Of course you need to make sure you request odds that wont get matched before it goes in play so that SP is taken. I thought though that Betfair would just cancel the bet after the off because it is below minimum. I'll try it myself.

I have a couple of systems that throws 10-20 bets daily that i want to use but with my current small bank betting below the 2 is a must, so it would be great if you add this feature.

I stand corrected. It does work.

Just use BACK-SP with your required stake and just make sure the odds you request are high enough to prevent being matched before the off. I don't need to add this feature, it's already there.

Perfect.

Now the hard word to 'automate' the placing of bets.

Hi, I just reached this thread and read it. From this discussion I felt you might be wrong. I really can't believe that BF starting price below the min of 2 Euro. I don't understand what exactly you are trying to say??

I didn't believe it until I tested it. Try it and you will see.

1) Tick the "SP in play" option
2) Place a back bet for £0.1 on a favourite at odds 20.00 to ensure it is not matched.
3) When the market turns in play it will be matched at SP

I do not recommend you do this regularly as Betfair really only tolerate below minimum stake bets for the purposes of making a green book. If you make too many you may draw attention to yourself. We cannot be held responsible for this.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
