Problems with UPDATE trigger

Hi guys, hope you can help me on this one.
I have Excel sheet which is supposed to change triger from BACK or LAY to UPDATE once bet ref cell is <>"". However I often have message in bet ref cell "number_invalid_price". I use it on in-running horse market, once back or lay bet is fired, there is PENDING message (stays there for 3-4 sec), and after that UPDATE trigger sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Odds are not in invalid format since I use either F or H cell. My refresh rate is 0.2 so odds are changing all the time, could it be something to do with that?
