Minimum System Requirements

Postby Spike » Sat Feb 28, 2009 6:11 pm

Hello,

What are the minimum system requirements for running B.A? I'd like to run it 24-7 on an old pc that has windows 98 - interfacing with excel from office 97. Before I drag it out of storage I'd like to know whether I'll be wasting my time. It doesn't need to run fast- it just needs to run. Will the old girl be up to it?

P.S- I LOVE this software, for my needs it's much better than it's more expensive peers, thank you and well done. I'm automating everything from excel and it's a piece of p1ss- exactly what I need. Look forward to learning VB and cutting out office all together later on.....

As long as you meet the minimum requirements for the .Net framework version 2.0 you should be ok.

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa480241.aspx

As far as I know it works with office 97.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
