Actually the price is the SuperPrice column :(

If you need an example, their international site covering UK races is here in the same format:

Maybe a couple of bugs in the Ladbrokes sheet ?

I'm getting no price for Complete Frontline in the 18:50 Yarm and no odds at all for the last two races of the day 19:50 Yarm & 20:00 Wind.

Ian, if this helps, I did have to copy and paste some formulae down to accomodate all the runners.

Complete Frontline is unfortunately misspelled on the Ladbrokes site and the 19:50 Yarm and 20:00 Wind races were probably not available when you tried it. The 20:00 race is still not available to view manually (at least I cannot see it).

I've done that manager in one of my existing workbooks. I'm getting the prices for the 19:50 now but not the 20:00 although they are on the Ladbrokes site. Are you getting the odds for the Complete Frontine in the 18:50 ?

I see what I've done now. I've scraped the races from the list that you can scroll down, but this does not include all the races. I will change the code.

For me it's fine, the races come up within half an hour.
There are two mis spellings, but that's just compatibility.

It was available but not from the scrollable window in the centre of the hompage - it that how you are getting them ? The window only shows the next 10 or so races but if you use the left hand menu you can see later races. As this is designed for live shows, that's no problem. I can get the odds for the 20:00 now it is in the window.

This is going to be really useful to me - thanks a lot.

When you have some time in the future, would you mind seeing if you can do this site please?

http://www.iasbet.com/site/racing/racin ... 2008-08-19

The price is empty at the moment, but it is displayed in the Fluc2 Column, to the left of the Super Price column

I believe it's much the same format as Ladbrokes.

I'm only asking the extra favour as it covers Australian Horseracing - where I am.

Just when you have time, and I appreciate how much you've helped already.

Gary, did you get a chance to look at this, I just thought you could have missed it due to an extra page being generated by replies.

Thanks.[/quote]

I've been using the Ladbrokes code for the last few days (successfully on the races I looked at) but for some reason, today, its not picking up any price for Catterick races.

Looks like it's getting mixed up with Deauville where the race times are clashing. I'm looking into it.

Hi Gary, thanks for this, this is a great peice of work. :D

Just a small prob though, all has been working fine with this until today. Today the live odds column just displays the #value error, no prices. As I said has been working great up until today.

Any ideas?
Thanks again.

Same problem here. It looks as if Ladbrokes may have updated their site today - it looks slightly different to me.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
