Ladder showing only top 3 prices each side

Postby PeterSeth » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:02 pm

Hi, since this newest update (38j), the ladders are only showing the top 3 prices on each side; I have ticked "Include Full Market Depth" in Preferences, and also the "Prices Depth" box, which is default at 3, I have taken to it's max of 50, but the ladder display doesn't change. Is there another setting I should be using? Cheers, Peter.

Hi,

There must be an issue with the new streaming options affecting you.
For now can you go into Preferences and under General settings untick both "Stream prices" and "Stream orders".
That should resolve for you.

Regards,
Mark

Yup, that worked!

Interestingly, When I initially opened the program this morning, the ladders were normally populated, leading me to think that it had merely needed a restart, however, further on from that, after I had a few markets open (I generally have multiple markets open at a time, 10 or 12 or more ), I noticed it was back to only 3 prices per side again, I didn't actually notice when specifically that occurred.

However, your fix suggestion has worked, and my markets are as normal again now.

Cheers!

Peter.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
