Excel Q2 triggers

Postby honest guv » Tue Mar 07, 2017 9:56 pm

Hi,

Using Excel, is there any way to fill the quick pick list using more than one Q2 trigger? e.g. if I wanted to include all RSA racing (3.11) and all French racing (3.27) for a day in a single BA tab?

Thanks,
Guv

I just set all the markets I want in the default quick pick list and then have the program to just use -3 in Q2 when I want to refresh and reload all those marets. Only works for the first tab so if you have other custom QPL's you'd need to have other instances of BA open rather than using tabs. Other way you can do it is by using the COM which gives you greater access to individual API requests.

Thanks Captain and Alrodopial.

I'm using the first tab for UK&I racing. Do you know if there are any performance hits with using a separate instance of BA rather than multiple tabs?

Thanks

I haven't noticed any negatives from running a couple of instance's of Gruss

Agree with previous post. Every day I run multiple instances of BA all running Multiple Tabs and they run just fine. I do however stagger the loading times a bit so that the program(s) are not trying to load and process everything all at the same time.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
