Postby beejays » Sun Mar 13, 2016 3:11 pm

I am new to Betfair and Betting Assistant.I have tried to change the minimum stakes from Betfairs £2 to £0.50 to allow me time to get used to using the programs. However when I place a bet in BA the stake is still showing as £2.I clicked on preferences changed the back and lay stakes to £0.50 then clicked ok.Can anyone help please.?

Yes, that's quite annoying.
You have to change to another market and back to the old market.
Only when a market is changed those preferences have an effect.

Thank you for that .I t seems to have worked when using the grid ,it is showing back and lay as 50p.But on the ladder keeps using £2.I have noticed a box next to the stakes at the bottom with 0.00 in it.Can that be changed to 50p?.When I click on it nothing happens.

Don't click on the 0,00 but doubleclick on one of the boxes right from the 0.00 to change their stake.

You need to double click those ladder stake buttons to set whatever stakes you want, Lots of people use different stakes for the ladder and grid. The box with 0.00 shows the matched stakes you've bet on that selection so you can use it to close bets for the same stake

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
