Auto Market Select - Race Delay

Postby StuT » Tue Jan 12, 2016 10:23 am

Hi there,

I have a full days racing in my quick pick list and have Auto Select Markets set to " Wait until actual off of preceding race, market suspend". This will move to the next market at the actual off.

What would happen if there is a delay in the current race and when it eventually starts and moves to the next race that next race is already in play?

Does it move the market again to the next race or will BA stop and progress no further?

Has anyone had experience of this?

Thanks.

Hi StuT,

If the race is already in play (or has finished) it will move on again to the next race.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response Drunkenight,

That's what I hoped would happen, so that's good.

I did forget to ask in my earlier question, would this also be the same for Greyhounds and non-in Play horses races.
If the next race is in Suspended status because it has started will BA move into the next race?

Sorry for the similar repeat question.

Thanks again.

Yes it is the same for non inplay horse racing and will move on. I have never checked with the greyhounds, but I am pretty sure it would be the same.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
