Hi,

First of all we do not currently allow users to edit their posts.

Here is the link to download the User Guide in PDF format:-
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting_Assistant/userguide/docs/userguide_1.3.0.23.pdf
The guide itself is currently being updated to include the changes that have been made since version 23 which include the addition of live tennis scores to the software.

To clarify, the software does not currently have a demo/practice mode.
I have no idea why Betfair took so long to update your transaction history, I don't think that is usual.
In any event once Betfair have accepted your bet there will a Betfair bet reference assigned to it, as displayed by the software in the Bets Manager and the Transaction Log, which is your audit trail for what happened to that bet.
If it does not appear in your Betfair Transaction history then you can always contact Betfair and ask them what happened to your bet quoting the bet reference.

Regards,
Mark

Problems with what?

If it's the manual download it'll be down to how your browser is set to handle PDF files, just right click on the PDF link Mark posted and select save as so you save the file to your PC and open it from there. Alternatively try a different browser like firefox or chrome or you can even use the online manual at

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
