Resorting runners

Postby What Premium Charge? » Sun Apr 12, 2015 3:26 pm

Hi, I am just trying to get to grips with Gruss after years using BA.

There are some features I so badly wish you had, like:

1. Hit enter key to auto centre all ladders at LTP
2. shift click to block select markets and then right click open all in new tabs
3. detachable watch list would be nice too!

However the one reason I use Gruss is because of the candlesticks on the ladders, I can't trade without that, so you have me there :D

In BA there is a "!23" button which resorts the runners automatically, shortest price on left. Is there any similar function in Gruss? I can';t see how people manage without it. A race I just watched had 4 or 5 horses being backed into fave, all taking turns, and some being backed in from big odds way off the ladders. Is there a way to automatically resort the ladders with one click?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
