Selecting next market

Postby vanbuuts » Wed Feb 11, 2015 10:25 am

I'm looking to be able to select the next market when the current market has "Suspended" (F2) and is In Play (E2). This is basically the moment the race finishes.

I was using the preset template sheet to select next race 10 seconds before the scheduled off, the problem here is that sometimes the next meeting is selected before the current one has completed (and any bets have been triggered).

The problem I am having with doing it this way, is that it tends to scroll through a few markets rather than just stopping at the next one. The reason is because when the -1 is placed in cell Q2 - the code still see's suspended and in play in cells F2 and E2 before the new market has fully loaded.

Can anyone assist on this - there must be other users who require to switch markets once the current race ends?

I posted an example sheet on the other thread about recording odds that'll move to the next market, basically you need to ensure the -1 is cleared after it's fired otherwise BA with just think you've requested another market change when the next market is selected if -1 is still there

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
