Sort Order - A kind of bug if there is no answer

Postby Mike1 » Sun Nov 24, 2013 11:56 am

Hi There,

I notices that sometimes the sort order which I want to always be "Not sorted", is changing from that to one of the other options. I learned that it happens because of the up/down arrows in the keyboard, which when clicked even in a remote area, including the area of the quick pick list, can cause the sort order to be changed.

Is there any way to make sort order "Locked" on what you want? Is there a trigger command which can move it to a specific sort order? Is there anything that exists that can solve this problem?

Cheers!

I've had this problem too. Sometimes when I tab on from the stake of my last new bet it goes to "sort order" then if you use an arrow key it changes the order. Very disconcerting if your not expecting it.

It is the default behaviour of the drop down list to respond to the up and down arrows. I will see what I can do about disabling this.

This fix has been implemented and will be in the next Beta release.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
