Copying a market list to a new tab

Postby Ian1506 » Sun May 20, 2012 1:37 am

Hi folks. For my current system I need to have two market pages/tabs open and they both need to contain the same races. Unfortunately I do not want to bet every race on the market and usually remove half a dozen or so. Is there a way that I can copy all of the races in TAB 1 and place them in TAB 2 or do I need to remove then manually?
Cheers Ian

Hi :)

not sure if this is what you want but you can build your quick pick list
manually in tab1 and then by right clicking on any of the events within the
quick pick list window you can then save it. Open tab2 with blank quick pick
list and then right click anywhere within that window and restore the same
set of events as in tab1. Hope that makes sense?
It's something I do regularly to save me filtering out two lots of quick pick lists.

If you wanted this automatically then sorry, I do not know how?

All the best - Michael

P.S. Then each can happily be linked to Excel.

As a quick afterthought maybe Gary could consider adding a right click quick
pick list option to "copy/paste" said quick pick list? Would/could come in handy.

Thanks 2020. That's what I was after. You are correct, I think a simple right click to save and copy would be useful.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
