help needed from a newbie - live tip bot

Hi

Is it possible to automatically place or lay bets from a live tip feed, ie horses names come through via an email which i can place on excel, then place the bet at certain odds / stake, i want the bot to place the bet there and then which could be for a race in 10 mins or 6 hours later. is this possible and if so is there a sample spreadsheet which could be modified.

It should be sufficient for your needs as long as the horses names that come from your tip feed match how they appear on Betfair.

thanks for that, how do i make it bet on demand, ie not using a timer before the start of the race, i want it to bet when i receive the information.

Hi,

The example spreadsheet that I pointed you to is designed to submit the bets at a specific time but you are free to adapt it to your own requirements.
You could take the time part of the IF statement out so that the bet is submitted as soon as the race is selected.
But the races have to be selected one at a time, i.e. the idea is you put all the selections in from all the races and then as the race is selected if there is name match then the bet gets submitted.
