Q1 triggering not working

Postby Posse1 » Mon Jan 09, 2012 12:21 pm

Hi, the Q1 trigger seems to have stopped working for me. I am particularly trying to use "-1" to move to the next race but I have checked others and have had a similar no response.

My refresh rate is set at 1 per sec (auto) and triggered betting is ticked.

Am I forgetting something?

Try Q2 may work better.

Sorry. That was a typo here on site.

I actually am using "Q2" and nothing is happening.

Have you enable triggered betting when linking to Excel?

-1 moves to the next market in the quickpicklist. Do you have more than 1 market and not already on the last item?

Hi Osknows,

I am at the start of the full pick list - (first race).

So no logical "clash" - as there would be if I was on the last race.

Hi,

How are you putting -1 into Q2? e.g. via vba code?

Have you tried putting -1 manually into Q2? Does it work?

Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark.

to answer your question I was manually entering "-1" into Q2.

I have however fixed the problem.

I found that this was happening with both the Betting Assistant programs and immediately I felt that the common factor was Excel. After running the Detect and Repair on Excel and restarting the problem disappeared.

So Gary and Mark rule! Bill you suck!!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
