Greening across selected runners ?

Postby lampac34 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 2:21 pm

Does anyone know the formula for greening/redding across multiple runners all with different profit and loss results ?

eg: 10 runner race:
Runner 1 = - 5
Runner 2 = - 8
Runner 3 = + 12
Runner 4 = + 27
Runner 5 = - 8
Runner 6 = -1.85
Runner 7 = - 1.85

So from the above example I would want to green up across all selections, and know how to green up so that say the top 3 only are in profit and the rest of he field is a £0.

Is this possible ?

I have a system that sometimes shows a full green field, but other times the winner shows a loss, so if I can green up across the lowest profit runners in the last few stages to a maximum risk sum then I can break even on some races and have a full green on others.

If anyone knows the formula or if you know or a resource/location on line where the maths are explained would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Tim

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
