Postby doc69 » Tue Jan 25, 2011 2:24 am

Hi guys,

having problems with adding uk horse racing to my quicky pick list. It only ever seems to add 1 race for some reason. Adds all of Australian races, but no UK. anyone else experience this problem. Been having this problem for about a week now. A solution will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Very strange. Is your PC's date, time and timezone correct?

Does updgrading to the Beta version make any difference? See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... php?t=5740

That is very strange. Try deleting the settings folder. This will make it a fresh install. You can use the following utility to locate and delete the settings folder.

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... ttings.exe

Unfortunately you will have to re-enter your preferences afterwards.

ok, I have now installed the software on my laptop and i still get the same problem. Today when I click on add All uk win (horse racing) to my quick pick list, the only race that came up was 23:50 Donc 28th Jan (2m Now Hrd).

I also tried logging in via a different betfair account, still made no difference. I can only conclude that there's maybe a specific setting I need to change within the software.

I also used the utility to delete the settings, this didn't work either.

Hi Doc,

I have the same problem when running BA on a tablet pc running XP. Running on a desktop with windows 7 it pulls in the UK race meetings no problem.

Can I ask what changes you made to the quick pick settings to get this to work?

Thanks
Steve

Could you send a screenshot of your quick pick settings to admin@gruss-software.co.uk. I will see if I can replicate the problem. If I can I can then tell you what to change and fix the problem for future users.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
