Username and Password rejected

Postby johnhalpin » Wed Aug 30, 2006 2:30 am

HI,
I'm a newbie and have just downloaded version 0.92 from the site.
When I try to log in on THe Betting Assistant software it rejects my username & password.
Perhaps I'm doing something stupid which aint new, but would like a little help.
Thanks in advance

I need your Betfair username to activate your account. Please email it to me.

Hi,

Having been away on holiday for the last week or so, i now find that i'm having the same login problems after downloading and installing the new 0.93 API version of BA.

Do i need my account activating too? if so can i email you with my login name please Gary?

Cheers.

Yes, you need to email me your user name. Nobody can gain access without me registering their user name with Betfair.

Please forgive my skepticism if I am wrong, but your wording is exactly the same as a post from 6 years ago and that version has not been available for some time. If you are serious then please email admin@gruss-software.co.uk

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
