can't load up markets into 'quick pick list'

Postby wojtazzo4 » Tue Jun 08, 2010 1:35 pm

today another problems. Until yesterday BA worked fine but yesterday and today is so nasty.
when I try to load up a UK win horse market it opens 5 new tabs and doesnt't load up a market at all.
also there is still markets from yesterday available under quick pick list.

doesnt BA refreshes? or maybe it is because I am running another application?

asking for a quick answer as there is a race in 25 minutes.

ok, it's sorted now. I have opened a new page and it shows today markets in quick pick list. I have deleted all other pages so it is fine now.

is it possible to save my settings as: tick offset, keep in play, stakes etc. so if I close the program and open its again it do shows me my last settings?

now, it is cancelling all the settings, and whenever I open the program it shows default stake of 2, lay odds 1,01, back odds 1000 under the 'field bets'.

I was trying also changed default stake but I dont know how.
I'd like to see my stakes in grid and ladder interface.
Is there any box where I can input my stake different than default?

You're making it sound like it's full of bugs which it isn't. I'm sure you are just having teething problems because you are new user.

If it's opening multiple tab pages when you first open the program then you must have ticked "Load different venues in separate tab pages" in quick pick preferences. Open preferences, select the quick pick preferences tab and untick this option.

It does not save your tick offset options or field bet stakes and odds, but you can set the following.

1) Keep in play: Select the general tab under preferences and select the keep in play option under "Default action if unmatched before turned in play"

2) Back and lay stakes: Select the staking tab in preferences and enter your required default stakes here.

sorry I sound like complaining. the true is that yesterday's problems wasn't problems with BA just me :D
as a new user I didnt know that I have to keep page open to allow the tick offset work. I thought I cna move to another market and settings would work at the backgroung. that was my mistake which costed me a bit.
but anyway BA is a GREAT software, especially for my strategy.

thanks for your help, quick replies and advices. I wouldnt cope with BA settings without you.

Cheers mate

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
