Betdaq Assistant slow

Postby tonyconsiglio » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:17 am

I've been using gruss for several years now, I'm mainly trying to bet on betdaq because betfair is ripping the public off. Have you got a software that I can pay for because your free one is much to slow and when I'm trying to lay horses I'm putting thousands of pounds in the system just to be shot at. Im wondering if you can help soon a possible before I go skint.

I don't think it's because the software itself is too slow, it could be your connection or the API that is slow (Betdaq's API is not as quick as Betfair's). We don't have a paid for version. We are however working on a Betdaq version which is basically the same as the Betfair version so the only possible difference can be the API response times. It will be a few months before we can release it.

Like Gary stated, I wouldn't have thought it's the software that's at fault. However, Bet Angel has a free Betdaq version, you could give that a try. Just google Bet Angel, go to their website and download the free Betdaq version, or fairbot's Betdaq version is also free, you could give that a try also.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
