Update quick pick list from excel..

Postby Bid » Fri Nov 27, 2009 2:40 pm

Is it possible to add markets to the quick pick list from excel/COM?

What I am trying to do is add football match markets to a quick pick list where they will be going in-play. I will also need to be able to add to quick pick lists on different tabs to avoid overlapping markets.

Anyone got any ideas??

Thanks!

Does the lack of replies mean that this is not possible?

If not any chance of adding in play footabll matches to one of the special quick pick triggers.

Also the ability to remove something form a quick pick list would be needed.

Thanks!

Hi,

You need to install the Beta version. See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3922 for details.

There is new Q2 trigger -3.17 which refreshes the Quick Pick List with in play soccer match odds.

The new -8 trigger deletes the current market from the Quick Pick List.

At the moment you can't make them add on different tabs.

Regards,
Mark

Perfect, thanks! I didn't now about the version history page..

If I have 2 pages open, each logging in a different spreadsheet and i use the -3.17 trigger in one of them what will happen? Will the quickpick list for both be updated - or neither?

Hi,

It will update the Quick Pick List from the tab page that is linked to the spreadsheet where you fire the trigger from.

Cheers,
Mark

from the help file of the beta, -3.13 refreshes the quick pick list with uk place greyhound. uk place greyhound is very very rare in betfair. what i need is uk forecast greyhound. can you add that into the list? thx a lot!

Sorry, the user guide needs amending.

-3.13 is actually AUS Greyhounds
-3.16 adds the UK forecast greyhounds

Make sure you are using version 1.1.0.64q. Se http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... php?t=3922 for download link if you are not.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
