Multiple Markets in Excel

Postby zapbrann » Tue Nov 24, 2009 4:18 pm

Hi All,

Sorry for a very newbie question, hopefully it is an easy answer.

I am trying to load all the days 'in-play' football markets into one excel sheet so that I can perform some triggered betting on each match.

I am using Excel 2007, Win 7, if it makes any difference.

When I open BA, load 'Soccer In-play (Match Odds)' into the first BA tab, and then 'Log current prices' I only get the top match in the list?

Is there any way to get the rest of the matches? Ideally within one Excel tab (but it doesn't have to be).

Many Thanks,

Zap.

In the Excel - log current prices options change the value of 'Top Left Hand Cell' for each new market you want added to the same sheet

Eg first would be A1, second could be A20, third A40..... etc

That's how you do it if you have the markets on separate tab pages, but when viewing multiple markets on the same tab they are supposed to be logged underneath each other automatically.

Can you try the latest Beta version and let me know if you have the same problem? See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3922 for download link.

OSknows, thanks for the reply, but it appears the functionality is already in the software. I decided to start my whole workbook from scratch, and when loading the coupon, all matches decided to go through to excel!?

Exactly what was needed.

Thanks,

Zap.

Haha! You are correct!

Gary, I have tried both my version and the beta, and they both work fine now. Thanks.

Now if either of you could look at the thread i'm just starting to write, that would be great................

Cheers,

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
