how do i fit more on the screen

Postby jumpsfan » Thu Nov 19, 2009 4:03 pm

hi gary, i seen your video on you tube. i noticed you have more space on your screen. i have jockey silks, numbers, names, 3 boxes of back 3 of lay , profit column, and six custom columns. then all the space is gone and i have to scroll across,, any way of reducing the boxes size so i can get more onto the screen? or is it to do with monitor size?

It's governed by your monitor's resolution. Set your display to a higher resolution if one is available otherwise your only option is to buy another monitor capable of displaying a higher resolution.

You can also hide the market tree if you have not already done so. Click the "+" next to "Markets" on the left to hide it.

On the General tab of Preferences, we have the welcome options to deselect either or both of 'Betting options visible by default' and 'Bets manager visible by default'.

I've deselected the former, and keep the latter selected.

Personally, I'd welcome the addition of a checkbox for 'Markets tree visible by default', which I would also choose to deselect.

This is now available in the latest Beta.

Sorry about that. I changed the internal version, it should have retained them, but if it did not then you will have to re-enter them.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
