Postby Redders » Sun Oct 18, 2009 12:20 pm

Just like to say thanks for the help you guys are giving I do look things up .. or try to lol ..

Ok I set my stop loss with a 4 tick setting , dont have sliding or level loss on ..

I put a lay bet in at say 1.6 it gets matched ,, and the big red stop loss light and square show up great .

The market moves my way all great so far ,, how can I now move the stop loss up to 1.6 scratch ...... ..

Or would I have needed to set the sliding setting before placing the trade . Many thanks have a great Sunday

If you are using the ladder interface there is a red indicator next to the odds the stop loss will be fired at. You can drag this up and down the ladder by holding the mouse button down on the red indicator, moving to the new odds and releasing the mouse button. There isn't an equivalent function on the grid interface.

Alternatively you will need to have ticked "sliding" before you place the bet.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
