Remove New Page

Postby osknows » Wed Jul 29, 2009 12:43 am

I stumbled upon BA a few days ago and have 27 days left until subscription is required. No problems there then as this is the best trading program I've used so far especially the easy integration with excel

Thank You!

I'm just getting to grips with some of the more advanced excel integration which is working wonders for me already but have a question that doesn't seem to be covered in the help file...

Is it possible to close a page once created and if yes can this function also be triggered from excel?

I've found that when things get frantic the number of requests per second gets quite high when trading in 4 markets and above. It would be easier to close the whole tab when I'm finished rather than increase each individual refresh rate. Also closing a page would reduce the clutter when trading across several venues/markets

Thanks,
Os

Hi Os

To close a TAB, right click anywhere in the market page and select Close.

There isn't an option to close tabs from Excel, but it will be included in a future release.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
