AutoReload QuickPick List

Postby mak » Tue Jul 07, 2009 8:39 am

Hello,
is there someone who can help me with the following please?

I am trying to run the sample Autoreload the quickpick list (http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Excel/A ... ckList.xls)
in order to get BA automated.

But when I log BA to excel nothing is updating.
Obviously I am doing something wrong. I am trying to reload the UK greyhound win market (so I believe that probably should change the trigger at Q2 to -3.12 ( I even do it mannually) but again nothing happend

Can somoene point out what excactly should I do in a step by step way if possible?

Do I have to check something on BA that i don't?
I don't know if the markets are loading in the morning for example because I tried it after midnight...

Thanks
mak

Is the spreadsheet updating in any way at all? Are the prices updating?

Does the option to load the quick pick list with UK greyhounds work from the market menu?

1. Well on Excel it is just staying on the last selected market (00:40 Sitt)
and nothing is changing.

2. In BA if I do it manually then I can see the next days market
If you are reffering to the refresh button above markets haven't used it

Thanks for the quick response

Do you want me to try and help using our remote assistance program so I can see for myself what is happening on your PC? If you want to try this then please email gruss@blueyonder.co.uk

Sounds like you have not enabled Macros for this workbook. Check your Macro Security Settings.

Gary, maybe you could put a certificate on the workbook using SelfCert.exe so the workbook could be trusted?

I might be wrong in all my assumptions though :D This may not be the problem!

Cheers,

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
