Performance Options

When setting the 2 performance options what level of failed requests should I be aiming for?
I've currently adjusted the level so that I'm getting 1%to 3% failures. Also should I be checking the failure rate regularly or once I've set the level thats it.

Yes, keep it low, 1-3% should be fine. It is also a good idea to check them regularly as it can vary, depending on your ISP and Betfair. In a future release I will be adding a visible indicator (like a traffic light) which shows when performance is poor and maybe an automatic tuning option.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software


The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
