OK, well I think I understand your situation a little more clearly now and I have to apologise for jumping down your throat. That was because there are numerous people betting very small amounts at short prices in such a way so they can never lose and I thought that you may be must be one of those characters.
It seems however that all you are doing is laying large prices for liabilities that you can handle and that this often means your stake is lower than the minimum. Well, I would agree that Betfair should be setting the liability as a minimum rather than the stake.
In short, I agree with you. I'll email my account manager and see what he says.

i realy dont care what happens as i am nearly to scared to even check these post's and maybe wont for a while.

not that in real life it would bother me i just dont have time to try to explain

I have run website's since 1999 and program cgi and php and help people without jumping down their throat's unless they have done a chargeback.

Sorry if I have misunderstood you, but are you saying that I have jumped down your throat?

I agree with you that you should be able to use lower stakes, but I can't make Betfair change their rules. All I can do is do my best to provide a tool that our customer's hopefully find useful.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
