Is there any log / way to record cancelled bets in Excel?

Anyone??? Surely it's possible to record the last bet placed before it was cancelled or better still details of the last cancellation / bet placement log?

Not that clear what you're asking for , are you cancelling the bets? If so just add a macro to record them along with your cancel routine. Your bet history on the website lets you download a list of cancelled bets if you just need the at the end of the day

H CS, there is an option to link a worksheet to show "current bets" I was asking if there was a way of importing "Live" bets that have ether been matched, open or cancelled.

My routine cancels a fair amount of bets for the same selection - but once the bet is cancelled there is no way of knowing what odds / stake it was originally placed at - my next bet would need to be one tick lower than the previous bet, but once the bet is cancelled I have no reference to the previous odds.

I have tried the update function but that does not work as I also need to adjust the stake as well

BA doesn't keep a record of cancelled bets in the MyBets sheet but all your other live or matched bets will show there.

Is there any reason why you can't just add a routine to your cancel routine to log the prices and remaining stakes of cancelled bets? Or are you cancelling them outside of excel?

It just slows down the split second timing if I have other cell references and macros to record it manually - hence why I was enquiring about any log of bet placement / cancellation.

Thanks for your assistance thou

Can't see why a simple macro would slow things down at all especially when it's incorporated either in your bet placement routine to dump the values in separate cells like AA5 etc or even if you just pick up the values when you cancel the bets and resubmit others. Don't know if you're using forumlas or vba but simply holding the data in a vba variable won't slow you down to any degree inn real terms as using things like vlookup would probably be a lot slower picking them up off the MyBets sheet

Hi CS. My VBA skills are probably not good enough to write anything that would do it in a simple manner unfortunately

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
