You'll have to wait til 1 July 2017 before you can apply for a pinnnacle account, they pulled out of UK territories due to the 15% point of consumption tax but now have a UK licence and are due back 1st July 2017. Pinnacle are good because they hold prices, don't limit/close and allow large bets, but in the meantime you should be able to find similar odds amngst the other bookies unless you're placing large wagers.

Thanks Captain, Somebody should tell them that Ireland (26 counties) is a Republic and not part of UK territories. Thanks for the heads up and roll on July 1st - best regards Paul

Here's the current list, I'd read the UK is due back 1 July 2017 dunno about Ireland but I'd imagine they are too.

You are in a country where it is lawful to place bets on the Service (if in doubt, you should seek local legal advice). It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the service is legal.
You are not a resident of the following countries:

i. the United States of America and its territories;

ii. the French Republic and its territories;

iii. United Kingdom;

iv. Netherlands (including Curacao and other countries and territories that form part of the Kingdom of Netherlands);

v. Spain;

vi. Germany;

vii. Singapore;

viii. Democratic People’s Republic of Korea;

ix. Denmark;

x. Philippines;

xi. Syria;

xii. Turkey;

xiii. Poland;

xiv. Ireland;

xv. Slovenia;

xvi. Czech Republic;

Thanks Captain, I hope you are right. I must say I had never heard of a consumption tax before, sounds like something from Orwell's 1984 but then even his dystopian government did not seek to interfere with gambling.
“So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern...Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.”

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
