Loading multiple football markets simultaneously

Postby vanbuuts » Fri Apr 28, 2017 9:02 pm

I've found a potential profitable scenario where UK football matches are 0-0 at half time. The bet needs to be placed as the second half kicks off.

Obviously saturdays are the busiest time, where you could have up to 70 games running at the same time.

I would like to automate my routine to test, but is it possible to have each game loaded at the same time across the top 4 English and Scottish leagues waiting for half time - triggering bets on games where the score was 0-0 at half time only?

How are you going to know for certain when the 2nd half kicks off in each game? Or are you just assuming the 3pm games will restart at 4pm?

If it was me I'd probably approach it by having all markets in the same tab and looping thru them, deleting any markets where a goal was scored along the way with the -8 trigger to take them out of your QPL. That way once you hit your 4pm deadline there wouldn't be many games left the loop thru and bet on, at 0.0 second refresh you should easily place all remaining bets in less than half a minute

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
