Special Trigger Cells

Postby MiniBlueDragon » Thu Dec 11, 2014 5:19 pm

Hi Gary/Mark/Someone who knows,

I've been trying to get the Special Trigger Cells to work in BA for BetDaq v1.0.9.1 but they don't seem to work in cell Q2 (top cell set at A1 as normal when linking to Excel).

Can I ask whether they should work and I'm doing something wrong or whether that functionality is only for BA for BetFair?

Thanks,

Hi,

BA for Betdaq does not have all the same functions that BA for Betfair has, including the Special Trigger cells.
Which trigger were you wanting to use?

Thanks for the reply Mark. What I'm after is a way to run through each race and note the prices. I'm quite proficient with VBA and Captain Sensible suggested using them, e.g.:

1. -5 to go to first race of the day.
2. Run through my copy/paste to another sheet.
3. -1 to select the next market.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 until J3 shows "L" for the last race.

It's not a big deal if the functionality is not available as I'm happy to look at Betfair instead. I only use BetDaq at the moment for the 3% commission.

So I was going to try out BA for BetFair but apparently it's the same product so I have to uninstall the BetDaq version? That's a bit pants. :?

No, they are 2 separate applications both can be installed on the same pc.

There are 2 different downloads on our downloads page.

Both can be running at the same time on the same pc.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
