The odds column should contain the maximum odds you will accept before it turns in play. If not matched when it turns in play then it will then be matched at SP. If you want to ensure matched at SP then 1.01 will ensure it is not matched before the off.

I have the trigger as =IF($AO13="LAY","LAYSP","") in column Q which basically is saying if a certain condition is met AO13=LAY. However when A03 is LAY and the bet is triggered it puts the bet ref on column R and the bet time in column S but on the off the bet keeps being cancelled - any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Just to say I have the stake as £10 so that should not be cancelling the bet.

Thanks

Your liability needs to be £10 not the stake if your odds are under 2 i.e. laying £10 @ 1.5 will only have a £5 liability and won't be entered into the bsp reconciliation process

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
