Excel Exporting. Race Number

Postby Haviton » Wed Jan 30, 2013 6:17 pm

I want to export the prices to an excel sheet which I know how to do

However, I need the race card number to have its own cell in excel. Is this possible.

Thanks in advance for any help

When you set up the Excel link there is a list of additional columns to select. Tick race card number in this list.

Thanks for your reply Gary

I have looked at the columns and see no "Race Card Number" in the list.

I did select saddle cloth but still couldnt see any number relevant to the horses number?
Thanks

The saddle cloth number is the one and gets exported to the excel sheet at the first available column at the end of the data so will show up around column Y'ish . Do you have any hidden columns or VBA that may be overwriting it?

Thanks again but its still not working.

I even clicked "Owner" to try and have sopme words appear in the spreadsheet as well to help differentiate from the numbers.

In column "X" there is a row of "0"s but in Y and beyond, there is nothing.

This is a brand new spread sheet and I dont know what VBA is sorry but I wouldnt think I have any :)

Thanks

Have you got Enable triggered betting ticked ? I think the additional columns only work once that's ticked . Otherwise what version do you have?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
