Part matched bets in MyBets worksheet

Postby Graham » Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:05 pm

I know that partially matched bets are appended with the letter P in the bet ref column, but how are they displayed in MyBets worksheet? Am I right in thinking that the same bet reference appears twice, one with F and one with U?

Thanks,

Graham

Thanks Gary, one more related question if you don't mind.

I think that the bet reference column and the MyBets worksheet are updated separately, so is it possible that, albeit briefly, a bet may show differently on the logging worksheet and the MyBets worksheet?

For example, a bet reference may have a P appended, even though the bet is fully matched, or unmatched on the MyBets sheet?

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

Graham.

F is matched, U is unmatched.

What will be displayed later if the unmatched part is finally matched?
Will there only be one bet reff with the F ( and the stake corrected ) ?
or there will be two same bet reff with the F and their stakes (added) equal to the total matched stake?

In the case of the partially matched bet,
Will the matched part bet be displayed first ? (row at the top) and the unmatched at the row just bellow?

Is it possible using VBA to force an update for the bets in MyBets sheet?
If so what is the proper command?

There will be one ref with stake corrected.

I'll have to check this and come back to you. Betfair is down at the moment unfortunately.

Every refresh so it depends on the refresh rate you have set.

Sorry to bring this back up, can you please let me know whether it is possible that, briefly again, a bet will have a reference on the logging worksheet, but not be showing on the MyBets sheet? I am thinking that the answer is yes, it is possible, but it would be useful to know for sure.

Thanks,

Graham

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
